In the early 1950's most Americans were mesmerized by the new technical marvel known as the television. But my grandfather still took time away from the "tube" to enjoy a good game of cards. Those of you who play card games know the secret joy of holding those plastic cards and trying to outwit your friends and family. He simply loved to play cards. Because of his fascination with card games, my grandfather developed a new type of rummy card game. Over the next 40+ years, his new style of card game would be simply named after him and called "Herbie's Rummy".
This game has been kept in the Berg family for over 40+ years. It has been passed down from generation to generation. Now in this day and age where technologies are replacing family time, this game provides hours of enjoyment with family and friends. Because of this the Berg family has decided to share this game with the public. We invite everyone to the enjoyment of sharing time together playing cards.
